How to Get Here
The Creggans Inn, Strachur, Argyll, is only 1 hour 20 minutes from the centre of Glasgow and 2 hours 20 minutes to Edinburgh.
The village of Strachur, in the Cowal Peninsula of Argyll, lies on the eastern shore of Loch Fyne, in the Firth of Clyde. It is 20 miles north of Dunoon and 21 miles from Inveraray.
Directions
By train - There are train stations at Arrochar and Dunoon Pier (both 19 miles)
By air - Glasgow International Airport (50 miles) or Glasgow Prestwick Airport
By Car - From Glasgow and Edinburgh take the M8 to the Erskine Bridge,the A82 via Loch Lomondside, continue through Tarbet (A83), turning southwards onto the A815 at the foot of the Rest and Be Thankful. The Creggans Inn is 10 miles from this junction.
Or, by Gourock car ferry across the Clyde to Dunoon, following the A815 north to Strachur.
From Stirling follow the A811 to Balloch then the A82 via Loch Lomondside.
